Smarter Order Assignment in Logistics

Making courier assignment more predictable and more stable is the most certain way of making the most unpredictable and costly section of order management easier to handle. This was achieved via improving the order assignment algorithm:

1) Don’t cancel an order when an external delivery service cancels a request

Before: if an external delivery provider canceled a request and didn’t assign a new courier, the order was automatically canceled.
Now: if the provider cancels and does not reassign, the system attempts to assign the order to a partner’s own courier.

2) Don’t drop the courier when order fields change during pick-and-pack

Before: if an order was assigned to a courier before picking was completed, any change to order parameters caused automatic unassignment.
Now: it's possible to configure which fields should trigger a drop — or disable auto-drop entirely.

These updates help avoid unnecessary cancellations and reassignments, improving the stability of the delivery process.

Flexible Slot Delivery Scheduling

Give partners full control over delivery slots with a more flexible and powerful configuration system.
We’ve significantly upgraded the slot delivery service. Previously, slot schedules had to follow a single, rigid template with identical start/end times and uniform intervals.

Now the system supports fully customized slot management:
• Set different slot durations throughout the day
• Configure custom visibility rules for each slot
• Assign individual default capacity per slot
• Create weekday-specific schedules
• Disable or hide individual slots at any moment without changing store operating hours

Partners can manage capacities themselves via the Admin Panel.
These improvements provide the flexibility needed to support a wide range of operational scenarios.
